Megan Mengistu

Clinical Social Worker/ Therapist, LCSW

I was born and raised in Virginia and North Carolina and have lived in Las Vegas for about four years. I have a little over three years’ experience providing therapeutic services to many different ages (5 to 65) and populations including victims of violent crimes, behavioral concerns, criminal offenders, LGBTQIA+, and those of various cultural backgrounds.

I primarily work with adolescents, young adults, and those who have trauma in their life, experiencing mood concerns, history of abuse, anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, anger, or PTSD. I have a non-judgmental and supportive approach where I want you to feel comfortable, safe, and at ease during your therapy sessions.

When I am not providing therapy, you can usually find me reading a good book (usually fantasy or sci-if) or maybe attending a concert. I also love art and nature.

Bethany Kammert

Marriage & Family Therapist, LMFT

Like the Hokey Pokey, change is essential in order to “turn ourselves around”, but finding a therapist that clicks can be problematic. When it comes to any type of change, even therapeutic, the greatest factor is the relationship between therapist and the client. Bethany describes her practice as honest, genuine, while being direct. She tries to create a comfortable and caring atmosphere. She works with individuals, couples, and families, to create a new perspective and insight in order to reach optimal results.

Bethany graduated from California Baptist University with a MA in Psychology. She grew up in Northern California and moved to Nevada in 2016. She considers herself to be a nerd; whether that is in terms of Disney, Dungeons and Dragons, or video games – she loves “nerd culture”! So much so that her two cats have Disney namesakes, Kronk from The Emporers New Groove and Kida after Princess Kida from Atlantis.

Bethany uses an integrative approach to offer you more effective tools that can make your life and relationships much more functional and rewarding. Her approach is primarily navigating communication pitfalls within relationships and rebuilding strong foundations on emotional intimacy, vulnerability, and solid communication skills. She works with life struggles such as anxiety, depression, codependency, emotional trauma and spiritual shaming. She works with individuals, couples, teens, children ages 8+.

Michele Green

Clinical Social Worker/ Therapist, LCSW

After living in Las Vegas for over 20 years, I have worked with people with diverse needs and goals from all areas and lifestyles. I worked in the nightlife industry and hospitality in multiple states giving me a wide range of personalities, especially in Las Vegas. Going to college later in life after leaving the hospitality industry, I focused on working with a non-profit that focused on people in the sex work industry and those who have been sex trafficked. These unique experiences have led me to be able to have an understanding and empathy for those who have experienced or participated in non- traditional lifestyles and traditional lifestyle challenges. I aim to help clients feel accepted without judgment to be able to express the hardships in their life by having hard confrontations.

My therapy style has been explained as laid back and casual with direct conversations. I don’t back away from difficult conversations to help clients become comfortable with the discomfort of growth.

Serena Rogers

Throughout my career, I’ve had the honor of guiding a wide array of clients towards more satisfying lives. My experience spans roles as an outpatient therapist within a nonprofit organization, where I addressed a broad spectrum of issues for individuals from various backgrounds, and as a residential therapist specializing in the treatment of depression, anxiety, and eating disorders. In every meeting, I aim to respect the unique journey of each person I support.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in empathy and a light-hearted spirit. I firmly believe that while the path to healing in therapy often involves navigating through tears, it can also be filled with moments of laughter and joy. My goal is to create a supportive and understanding environment where you can openly explore your feelings, challenges, and goals.

I prioritize affirming the identities of all clients, with sensitivity to those from BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities, fostering a space of respect and acceptance. My practice is rooted in a person-centered philosophy, emphasizing collaboration, empowerment, and the pursuit of lasting change.

Brittany Johnson

Clinical Social Worker Intern, CSW-I

While pursuing my undergraduate degree, I found myself drawn to helping people in need. I was a member of AmeriCorps and briefly worked for a nonprofit that mentored at-risk youth. I struggled with an eating disorder for about a decade. Through my own therapeutic journey, I discovered the healing powers of yoga. I then became a registered yoga instructor and focused my practice on helping people love their bodies as they are as well as connecting the mind and body through movement.

After I obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of California, Los Angeles, I pursued life coaching. I wanted to help people who had gone through trauma figure out who they were after the healing that came with therapy- a feeling I knew all too well as I had also experienced this phenomenon after personally going through both eating disorder recovery and trauma therapy. I received my Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California. During my practicum I became Certified Trauma Professional so I could acquire the specific knowledge and tools to help those who had gone through trauma.

My therapeutic philosophy is to utilize a strengths-based approach to help you see that you have everything within you to heal. I am simply the scaffolding supporting you while you are on your journey to liberation. If I can create a space for my client to feel seen and safe without judgment, I know I have done my job.

I am body positive, queer allied and culturally responsive. I am comfortable working with adult clients of all ages and walks of life. It would be an honor to connect with you and join you on your journey!

I believe you are the expert on yourself. I will collaborate with you to better understand and work through the challenges in your life so you can move forward with confidence. My goal is to provide you with the tools and insight you need to move beyond therapy with me and be able to resiliently address the problems that present themselves. I am personable, direct, and work to create a safe space for you to say all the things you’re feeling out loud. Within that safe space, I will normalize, validate, reframe, and also gently challenge you when it feels needed and appropriate.

After struggling through my own infertility journey and the ripples it created in life, I became passionate about helping others going through the same thing. I work with all areas of infertility and getting to the other side of it, whether that be perinatal and postpartum or deciding to walk away from treatments. None of it is easy.

I became a therapist late in life after working for 17 years in the television and music industries, so I have life experiences that inform my work. I know asking for help can feel impossible at times, but I am here to listen and support you on your way to feeling like yourself again. I hope you will give me the chance to be a source of support for you.

Jessi Sommer

Marriage and Family Therapist Intern, MFT-I

The center of my practice is addressing how impactful life events have affected your mental, physical, and relational well-being. I believe in the power of taking back ownership of your story and rebuilding your voice in creative ways. There is not a “one-size-fits-all” , so I like to collaborate and be flexible to what treatment path addresses your needs best. I’m trained in Brainspotting Therapy and can integrate this with other forms of trauma therapy such as narrative or IFS. My goal is to foster a relationship where you feel safe to be authentically yourself.

Hisani Brewer

Clinical Social Work Intern, CSW-I

I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and Certified Social Worker–Intern (CSW-I) with over six years of experience providing therapy across diverse clinical settings, including treatment centers, community mental health agencies, and hospital systems. These experiences have allowed me to work with individuals facing a wide range of emotional and behavioral challenges, from acute crises to long-term patterns of depression, trauma, and relational distress.

My approach to therapy is warm, direct, insight-oriented, and skills-based. I believe meaningful change happens when clients feel both supported and appropriately challenged. In our work together, I strive to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and understood—while also helping you identify patterns, build practical coping tools, and take intentional steps toward growth.

I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, family and couples therapy frameworks, and evidence-based practices for both individual and group therapy. Whether we are addressing low motivation, self-esteem struggles, trauma-related symptoms, relationship difficulties, or thoughts of self-harm, treatment is collaborative and tailored to your unique needs.

I have experience working with individuals, couples, families, and groups across the lifespan. My goal is to help clients increase self-awareness, strengthen emotional regulation, improve relationships, and build lasting resilience.

Therapy is not about “fixing” you—it’s about helping you reconnect with your strengths and create sustainable change.
