Meet Our AMAZING Ft. Apache Team

Sara Hernandez Moya
Clinical Social Worker/ Therapist, LCSW
I obtained my Bachelor of Science is in Human Services with an emphasis on Management from the University of Phoenix and I have a Master of Social Work from Walden University. With me you can expect a practical and down to earth approach designed to meet you where you are. My therapy style is conversational, casual, and interactive. I talk so casually during session (may curse even) that you’ll feel like we’ve met before. I’ll ask you about your likes and dislikes, what’s been going on and how you’re experiencing it. I’m not afraid to talk about the hard or awkward stuff and I’m also not afraid to let you know when you’re limiting yourself. And then we’ll get down to the hard work. Human relationships are the vehicle for change, so if it sounds like we “jive” … reach out and we can chat.

Christian Earl
Clinical Social Worker Intern, CSW-I
With five years of experience in the criminal justice system, I have had the privilege of coordinating specialty courts that offer offenders an alternative path, focusing on rehabilitation rather than incarceration. Throughout this time, I have had the opportunity to support many individuals in their personal transformations, guiding them with empathy, compassion, and strategic interventions to help them achieve lasting life improvements.
As I shift my focus, I am now pursuing a more individualized approach, where I work directly with higher-functioning adults in a one-on-one therapeutic setting. My goal is to apply the same principles of empathy, support, and guidance that have led to success in the justice system, now tailored to meet the unique needs of adults seeking personal growth and life satisfaction.
In addition to my professional journey, I have continuously pursued my academic growth. I hold a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and a master’s degree in social work from the University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work. Through my own personal experience of overcoming trauma, I developed a deep passion for therapy and an understanding of its power to bring about life-changing transformation. My approach is rooted in evidence- based practices, with a strong emphasis on building a meaningful therapeutic relationship to foster growth and lasting change.
