Meet Our AMAZING Ft. Apache Team

Sara Hernandez Moya

Clinical Social Worker/ Therapist, LCSW

I obtained my Bachelor of Science is in Human Services with an emphasis on Management from the University of Phoenix and I have a Master of Social Work from Walden University. With me you can expect a practical and down to earth approach designed to meet you where you are. My therapy style is conversational, casual, and interactive. I talk so casually during session (may curse even) that you’ll feel like we’ve met before. I’ll ask you about your likes and dislikes, what’s been going on and how you’re experiencing it. I’m not afraid to talk about the hard or awkward stuff and I’m also not afraid to let you know when you’re limiting yourself. And then we’ll get down to the hard work. Human relationships are the vehicle for change, so if it sounds like we “jive” … reach out and we can chat.

Christian Earl

Clinical Social Worker Intern, CSW-I

With five years of experience in the criminal justice system, I have had the privilege of coordinating specialty courts that offer offenders an alternative path, focusing on rehabilitation rather than incarceration. Throughout this time, I have had the opportunity to support many individuals in their personal transformations, guiding them with empathy, compassion, and strategic interventions to help them achieve lasting life improvements.

As I shift my focus, I am now pursuing a more individualized approach, where I work directly with higher-functioning adults in a one-on-one therapeutic setting. My goal is to apply the same principles of empathy, support, and guidance that have led to success in the justice system, now tailored to meet the unique needs of adults seeking personal growth and life satisfaction.

In addition to my professional journey, I have continuously pursued my academic growth. I hold a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and a master’s degree in social work from the University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work. Through my own personal experience of overcoming trauma, I developed a deep passion for therapy and an understanding of its power to bring about life-changing transformation. My approach is rooted in evidence- based practices, with a strong emphasis on building a meaningful therapeutic relationship to foster growth and lasting change.

Gia Harbour

MFT-I

Originally from Romania, Gia brings a unique blend of medical, media, and psychotherapy experience to her clinical work. After training as a pediatric nurse and working as a television journalist, she immigrated to the United States in 2000 and later earned her Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2021.

Gia works with children twelve and older, adults, couples, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions. She has a special interest in working with gifted and creative individuals, intercultural couples and families, and those navigating attachment wounds, infidelity, separation, or divorce. Her approach is warm, collaborative, and evidence-based, integrating attachment-based therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), narrative therapy, neurobiology, and Rapid Resolution Therapy (RRT). Gia believes therapy is both a science and an art, creating a supportive space where clients feel understood, build resilience, and experience meaningful, lasting growth.

Ralph Ruiz

CSW-I

I’m originally from New Jersey, but Las Vegas has been home since I was young. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UNLV and my Master’s in Social Work from UNR. As a social worker, I take a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach that recognizes each person as the expert in their own life and honors the resilience they bring to their healing journey.

I work with clients ages 8 and up who may be navigating depression, anxiety, acute stress, PTSD, grief, adjustment concerns, or somatic symptoms. I’m also passionate about supporting individuals and families experiencing illness, caregiver stress, medical advocacy needs, immigration-related challenges, LGBTQIA+ concerns, and questions of spirituality. Using CBT, motivational interviewing, psychodynamic, and existential approaches, I strive to create a compassionate and collaborative space where clients feel heard, understood, and respected. I invite you to explore your experiences, better understand how they have shaped you, and discover your own strengths and path toward healing. Together, we can approach that journey with curiosity, openness, and compassion.
